About Japanese salamander

The Japanese salamander (Andrias japonicus) is an animal with a shape that looks like a cross between a frog and a lizard. One of the uniqueness of this unique animal is that it can breathe through the skin. However, this Japanese salamander has a very slow metabolic system. Therefore, this almost extinct animal cannot survive without food for weeks.
